He Is Who He Is (Anything else is a misrepresentation-- Who He IS Not)
For many years of my life I thought God was some sort of psychopath Who hated my guts.
God would prefer to cease to exist than not have a future with you and in so doing allowed Someone Who He valued greater than Himself ( His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ) to take upon Himself everything you and I have ever done wrong so that you and I could have a future with Him. Anything else is a misrepresentation of God (Who He Is Not).
Matthew 5:43-45 You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.…
God is compassionate. Anything else is a misrepresentation of God (Who He Is Not)
Mark 1:40-41 Then a leper came to Jesus, begging on his knees: “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,He said, “Be clean.”
God cares more about you than He does about " the things He created for you" Anything else is a misrepresentation of God (Who He Is Not)
Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
God provides everything required for life to have any meaning. Anything else is a misrepresentation of God (Who He Is Not).
Romans 14:23 For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin. Psalm 118:9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
God is humble. (He would prefer you get the credit for something rather than Himself. ) Anything else is a misrepresentation of God (Who He Is Not).
Philippians 2:5-11 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. God is a God of Peace. Anything else is a misrepresentation of God (Who He Is Not)
1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace--as in all the congregations of the Lord's people.
God is Who He Is and acts completely as He Is. Anything else is a misrepresentation of God (Who He Is Not).
1 Peter 2:1 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.
1 Samuel 15:29 He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie or change his mind; for he is not a human being, that he should change his mind.”
Numbers 23:19 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
God helps you willingly, He actually wants to help you. Anything else is a misrepresentation of God (Who He Is Not).
Deuteronomy 28:47Because you did not serve the Lord your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity,
God helps you, not to "big note" Himself, but because helping you is part of Who He Is. Anything else is a misrepresentation of God (Who He Is Not).

Mark 12: 41 -44 Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.

Genesis 39: 21 the Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.
God is loyal and faithful. Anything else is a misrepresentation of God (Who He Is Not).
2 Samuel 15:21 But Ittai said to the king, “I vow by the Lord and by your own life that I will go wherever my lord the king goes, no matter what happens—whether it means life or death.”
Proverbs 20:6 Many claim to have unfailing love, but a faithful person who can find?

God values you enough to correct you if are hurting yourself, even if this "hurts" you. Anything else is a misrepresentation of God (Who He Is Not).
