A heart that wants others to be better than itself.

I have at times acted "perfect", while in my heart I have wanted to be better than others.  This is what God calls being a hypocrite

If you are wanting to be better than anyone you are hurting yourself.

It is my belief that if you claim to be some sort of religious person who represents God, yet you want to be better than anyone, you misrepresent God more than if you did not claim to represent Him.

There is not a lot of point in wanting to be better than someone if you do not need to be better than anyone.

One of the reasons you may want to be better than someone is you may have imagined  that if you are not better than anyone God will not want you.

I believe when you know in your heart  how much you are worth to God, you will be a lot more able to want others to be better than you.

God in his heart wants you more than He wants Himself. He wants you to be better off etc than He Is.

If you have wanted to be better than anyone, God wants to help you. He wants you turn back to wanting others of you to be better than you  to the same extent that God wants you to be better than Himself.

Acts 4:32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.

1 Corinthians 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

1 Corinthians 13:3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,

1 Peter 1:22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.
