Point of living

For about seven years of my life I did not possess the will to live. During this time I searched for some  logical reason as to why I should not end my life.

The point of living is not to make money, buy houses, change society, feed the poor, rob the bank, hurt others, get a medal for bravery, join a monastery, start an orphanage, consume food, listen to music, educate yourself, find cures for cancer, own fast cars, drive trucks, talk to people, help people, give all your money away, stopping eating food, work, sleep, play sport, get a job, improve your skills, raise a family, etc.

The point of living is not dependent on what you do or have. What makes life worth living does not originate from you or any one else. It does not originate from your looks, it does not originate from your work, it does not originate from your career, it does not originate from you money, it does not originate from your food, it does not originate from your charity. Rather what makes life worth living  is the way you feel.  It is the happiness, satisfaction, peacefulness, trust, etc in your life.

When all positive emotion, etc is gone, so is the will to live.

There is no point in life unless the happiness, satisfaction, peace trust etc is available.   It is not available from where you live, It is not available from the money you have, It is not available from the relationships you have tried, It is not available in the food you eat, It is not available from the music you listen to,  It is not available from your career.  It is not available from you or any of you.

For life to have any meaning, there is a Higher Power who provides what you seek.

This is God Whoever He is, and if He does not exist and/or does not want you to know Who He Is, there is no point in your life.

Why live if you do not want to live and you will never want to live?

If God  has not or does not desire to impart to you a dream or purpose, there is no point in your life.

If God  has not or does not desire to impart to you the happiness, satisfaction, peace, trust etc that enables you to live,  there is no point in your life.
