Turn back from  misrepresenting  God in your Heart

At times I have acted like I was nice and perfect toward other people, when I was not feeling nice and perfect toward other people in my heart.   This is what God calls being a hypocrite

If someone is making decisions that are leading to death, they will continue to make decisions that lead to death unless they want to make decisions that lead to life.

It is my belief that if you claim to be some sort of religious person who represents God  yet you do not represent God in your heart you misrepresent God more than if you did not claim to represent Him.

Matthew 21:32 For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.

You only need to want what you only need to want. There is not a lot of point in wanting death.

God in his heart wants you to turn back to wanting life. He takes no pleasure in you hurting yourself and others of you.

Ezekiel 18:32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!

God from his heart wants you from your heart to turn back to  Him.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Proverbs 1:23 Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings.

Isaiah 30:15 This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.

Isaiah 59:20 The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,” declares the Lord.

Ezekiel 14:6 Therefore say to the people of Israel, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Repent! Turn from your idols and renounce all your detestable practices!

Luke 15:7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Acts 5:31 God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins.

Acts 17:30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.

Acts 20:21 I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.

Acts 26:20 First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds.

2 Corinthians 7:10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
