Knowing God loves you

For a long time I did not know that God wanted nothing more than me.

If you have had things communicated about God that are not true and/ or you have had God misrepresented to you, it can make it  harder for you to believe the truth about God.

Not knowing how much God wants you is not because God does not want you to know how much He wants you.

2 Corinthians 2:4 For I wrote you out of great distress and anguish of heart and with many tears, not to grieve you but to let you know the depth of my love for you.

God wants you to know you are loved even as Jesus Christ knows the love God has for Him.

John 17:26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”

If you have hurt yourself by not loving anyone God does not want to condemn you. He wants to help you turn back to loving everyone.

1 John 3:23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.

1 John 2:10 Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble.

1 Peter 1:22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.
