Representing God

For a large part of my life I struggled with questions about God and religion. For a long time I thought God would only want me if I was someone I was not. In order to please God I thought I had to make converts, go to church, give money away, not drink, not smoke, be perfect, etc.

Representing God does not make God want you any more, nor does misrepresenting God  make God not want you any more. God cannot change. Representing God is for your good. The ultimate outcome of representing God is life.

What does it mean to represent God? Does it mean you need a theological degree? Does it mean you need to pray a lot? Does it mean you need to tell others about God? Does it mean you need to give all your money away?

Representing God is simply relating to God and others of you in the same way God relates to you and others of you.

You represent God when you in your heart treat God and others of you in the same way God in his heart treats you and others of you.

God loves you with all His heart and with all His Soul  and with all His strength, you represent Him when you love Him and in turn others of you in the same way.

There is no part of his heart that wants anything more than you.

Deuteronomy 6:5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

Matthew 22:38-39 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Everything in God's heart wants you  and in turn others of you.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
