What is love may seem to not be love.

I have not loved you enough to speak truthfully because I was afraid of what you would think of me.   I have been silent while others deceived you into behaving in ways that ultimately hurt you.    I have been silent while others taught you God was not Who He Is. Love will always speak and act truthfully, even if you take offense, even if you no longer think I am your "friend"

If love is perceived as not love, it is not the fault of love. It's the fault of the understanding.

Not all those that love are able to communicate the reason(s) why they do what they do. This creates the ability for you to misunderstand the reason(s) why they do what they do.

Martin Luther King, In the End, we will remember not the words (actions) of our enemies, but the silence (inaction) of our friends.

What can help a person more than helping them know the truth?

A person called Stephen died trying to help the people that killed him. Stephen could have played it safe and not said anything, but he could not, because he loved the people. Stephen in his speech to certain people, who practiced a similar type of law to modern day Sharia Law, that even today causes people to kill those who try to help them understand Who God Is.

He told them about Who God Is resulting in his death.

“However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. As the prophet says:

“‘Heaven is my throne,

and the earth is my footstool.

What kind of house will you build for me?

says the Lord.

Or where will my resting place be?

they ( certain religiously indoctrinated people ) all rushed at him, dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul.

While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep. (Acts 7)
