Wanting nothing more than God.

At times I have wanted many things more than I have wanted God. I have wanted money more than I have wanted God. I have wanted to help other people more than I have wanted God. I have wanted to be seen as "important" more than I have wanted God. I have wanted to be seen as "nice" more than I have wanted God.

I believe if the only future you want is God, this is the only future you need to want. Wanting what you do not need to want can result in you wasting time/ effort in pursuit of something that you do not need and that ultimately is not going to meet the emotional need within you.

God has only ever wanted you for no other reason than you are the only thing He has ever wanted. If you never amount to anything in your life yet you are enabled to want nothing other than God, you have amounted to more than someone who owns the whole world yet has struggled only wanting God.  .

If you are physically sick yet you are enabled to want nothing other than God, you have amounted to more than someone who is physically healthy   yet has struggled only wanting God.  .

If you never known yet you are enabled to want nothing more than God, you have amounted to more than someone who is known yet has struggled only wanting God.  .

God would not be Who He Is if He did not try to help you want what you only need to want.
