I have not known what faith Is. I have had no faith.
The word faith can be defined as something you know as a certainty even though it may not be physically seen
If you have more than a little faith, you will not fear, even if it seems that you are going to drown.
Matthew 8: 23-26 3 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.
Mark 4: 35-40 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” 36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”
39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
Matthew 14:29-31 Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
For those of you who have allowed God to have a future with you,
If He whom has a greater value and worth than all things dwells within you, it makes a person wonder why they place so much relative value on what they perceive they do not have. It may be they do not have any faith ,
How can someone who has no faith get more certainty about what is currently unknown to them? If you have no faith, what you do not have and do not know starts to decrease in importance the more you know Who HE IS
Matthew 17:20
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Luke 22:35
Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” “Nothing,” they answered.
1 kings 8:27 “But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!
Pslam 68:5 A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.
1 Corinthians 3:16
Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?
