He Is Worth More Than The Shame

I was given a brother who was worth dying for and of all the people who tried to save him I was the most to blame for his death. 

Job 10:15 If I am guilty—woe to me! Even if I am innocent, I cannot lift my head, for I am full of shame and drowned in my affliction.

Psalm 25:3 No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause. 

Psalm 44:15 I live in disgrace all day long, and my face is covered with shame  

Psalm 69:6 Lord, the Lord Almighty, may those who hope in you not be disgraced because of me; God of Israel, may those who seek you not be put to shame because of me. 

Psalm 89:45 You have cut short the days of his youth; you have covered him with a mantle of shame. 

Jeremiah 9:19 The sound of wailing is heard from Zion: ‘How ruined we are! How great is our shame! We must leave our land because our houses are in ruins.’” 

Jeremiah 20:18 Why did I ever come out of the womb to see trouble and sorrow and to end my days in shame? 

It is not truthful to pretend you have no shame if you are worthy of shame.

If you have ever turned away from Someone Who never turned from you, you are worthy of shame. 

Jeremiah 13:27 your adulteries and lustful neighings, your shameless prostitution! I have seen your detestable acts on the hills and in the fields. Woe to you, Jerusalem! How long will you be unclean?” 

Isaiah 42:17 But those who trust in idols, who say to images, ‘You are our gods,’ will be turned back in utter shame.

Honesty is the best policy.

You of yourself do not have sufficient worth to remove the weight of shame, otherwise you already would have.

Ezekiel 32:24 “Elam is there, with all her hordes around her grave. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword. All who had spread terror in the land of the living went down uncircumcised to the earth below. They bear their shame with those who go down to the pit. 

You will never not be without shame unless Someone Exists Who has sufficient worth to remove the weight of shame. 

Isaiah 45:17 But Israel will be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages everlasting. 

Isaiah 61:7 Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. 

Joel 2:26 You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. 

Revelation 3:18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. 

Revelation 21:27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
