Who He Is‎ > ‎

The Word of God

God would not leave us without anyway to understand Who He Is, otherwise He would not be Who He Is. He has revealed Who He Is through the word He has spoken. God is Who He says He Is (His word).

We tend to think God is like a human and says things He does not really mean. We need to receive an understanding that unlike the words of humans, the words of God are true.. Until we receive an understanding into His nature, we will have a tendency to think He can be Someone He Is Not, and can speak words that are not Who He Is.

God Himself has to help us understand that unlike humans He is not a hypocrite. He Is Who He Is, Says Who He Is, and Acts completely As He Is.

(Malachi 3:6)  For I am the Lord, I change not;
 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1).

Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.

Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

1 Peter 1:23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

2 Corinthians 4:2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.
