You Not Being You (Who You Are)

I have acted in a way that made me outwardly look "okay", when I was not "okay".  I have spoken (and not spoken) in a manner that made me outwardly look "okay," when I was not "okay" I have not been "myself." I have tried to hide from who I am from others.

What is wrong with not being who you are?  What is wrong with acting and speaking in a manner that is contradictory to who you are?.

Not being who you are makes you have a hard time receiving help, as you believe you   are able to help yourself on your own.   However you cannot help yourself on your own otherwise you already would have done so.

. You are hurting yourself and others as long as you are not able to receive  help . Of yourself you are unable to understand this. You have to be helped to understand your need of help.   Love will always help you even if you do not understand it at the time.

This is what happened to a few people living a while back who thought they were perfect when they were not.

Matthew 23: 13-29

“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.

“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.

“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
