Inadequacy

All humans were created with the ability to reorganize what has been created, however they were not made with the ability to of themselves create. This has lead to a situation in which humans find themselves deficient and unable to of themselves meet this deficiency.  Of itself this is not necessarily a bad thing however trouble arises when humans are not aware of their inadequacy and act as if they do not have one.

We mask our inadequacy from others around us in an attempt to create what we cannot (but are not willing/ able to accept that we cannot) create.  We try to impress only to be criticized. We try to do good only to do harm. We try to be happy only to be unhappy. We try to laugh only to be sad. We try to be friendly only to loose friends. We try to trust only to be mistrusted. We try to become wealthy only to become poor. Even when others are not around us we live as if some higher power must not know our weakness.  Even those who consciously deny the existence of some higher power  live trying to hide their deficiencies.

The inadequacy of humans  to understand their inadequacy gives rise to most if not all problems in society including mental health problems.  Not only is it detrimental to the health of the mind, it also is detrimental to our relationships and living a productive life. We devote excessive amounts of time masking our inadequacy instead of living according to what already exists. Not only is our quality of life reduced and time wasted, the path to proper enlightenment is reduced.

Our inadequacy to realize our inadequacy reinforces the need for a Higher Power to help us realize our inadequacy. Only with the ability He can provide do we have a chance of being able to live a meaningful life.

Our inadequacy should draw us to this Higher Power. However this is often not the case as we often unknowingly blame He Who made us for the inability we possess. When we cannot do something, rather than blame He Who made us, we should acknowledge our inability and seek the ability that He only can provide.

I have tried to help; in my failure help me accept the ability to help that you only can provide. .
I have tried to be nice; in my failure help me accept the ability to be nice that you only can provide.
I have tried to forgive; in my failure help me accept the forgiveness that you only can provide. .
I have tried to be humble; in my failure help me accept the humility that you only can provide.
I have tried to realize my inadequacy; in my failure help me accept the realization of my inadequacy that you only can provide.
I have tried to be wise; in my failure help me accept the wisdom that you only can provide
I have tried to do right, in my failure help me accept the ability to do right that you only can provide.
I have tried to be happy, in my failure help me accept the happiness that you only can provide.
I have tried to provide for myself and my family, in my failure help me accept the wealth that you only can provide.
I have tried to be friendly, in my failure help me accept the ability to be friendly that you only can provide.
I have tried to repent from past wrongs, in my failure help me accept the repentance that you only can provide
