The Reason

The reason why you cannot control what you do and say. The reason why you harm yourself and others of you.

You know there is something that is missing in your life. It is not something that can be seen, rather it is something that you cannot see. What is missing is tied in with how you feel. This feeling comes and goes. You try to ignore it, but cannot. It is driving you to do what you do. It is causing you to harm yourself and others of you. It is leading you in and out of relationships. It is the reason why you cannot stay in a job. It is the reason why you have trouble losing weight. It is the reason why you have trouble sleeping. It is the reason why you have lost a sense of purpose. It is the reason why you have constant negative emotion.

You have lost the correct perception of what already exists. Often what causes this loss is hurt which is for many to painful to mention.

You no longer perceive the father you should perceive.
You no longer perceive the acceptance you should perceive.
You no longer perceive the friendship you should perceive.
You no longer perceive the security you should perceive.
You no longer perceive the peace you should perceive.

The perception is not lost in the physical body, rather it is lost in the mind. All humans at present have lost the correct perception, some more so than others. Those that have lost the correct perception the most have lost the will to live. Others no longer feel as happy as they used too, but still desire to live.

Once the perception is lost, it is not humanly possible to regain the perception. For instance if you no longer perceive friendship (i.e. you feel lonely) and try to overcome your lonliness by associating with people, you will still feel lonely. For instance if you no longer perceive the father you should perceive (i.e. your father was a source of hurt, instead of unconditional love), you will still feel rejection, even if you go out of your way to hang around other people's fathers.

You and others cannot create the correct perception. If you could, you would never have lost the correct perception.  Others cannot or they would already have created the correct perception and there would be no longer any need for you to be reading this.

How can the perception be changed? What caused the loss of perception in the first place is different for different people. Often it is hurt which for many is to painful to mention. At other times it can be religious instruction.
Most if not all wrong perceptions can be changed through experience.  For instance, the more you know or experience a person the more (or less) you perceive them as being likeable. Is it humanely possible to create an experience powerful enough to change faulty perception? If it were so, you would already have done so and would no longer have any negative emotion.

For there to be any hope of you regaining your lost perception, there must be a way to experience what already exists. This experience cannot be something brought about by yourself for the reasons discussed. This experience must be something that is brought about by Someone or Something outside of you.

Someone must allow you to experience the father you never had.
Someone must allow you to experience the acceptance you never had.
Someone must allow you to experience  the friendship you never had.
Someone must allow you to experience  the security you never had.
Someone must allow you to experience the peace you never had.

To explain further:

Some of you have complete, happiness, peace, and satisfaction in your life. Some of you have complete trust in your relationships. Some of you can control you do and say. You can control what you eat. You do not hurt yourself and others of you.

There are others of you that do not have complete happiness, peace and satisfaction in your life. There are others of you that do not have complete trust in your relationships. There are others of you that cannot control what you do and say. You cannot control your eating, sleeping, worrying, relationships, etc.

What causes you to feel the way you do is not something in the physical environment. It is not how many friends you have, the colour of your skin, the temperature of the air, the money in the bank account, the country you live in, the number of cars you own, the size of your house, the language you speak, whether you party is in government, whether you win the sports match, etc. It is the way you think.  You are not consciously aware of this thinking as it is subconscious in nature. This thinking has influenced your past and it will determine your future.

The exact subconscious thought pattern can be different from person to person but the subconscious thought pattern associated with constant negative emotion(s) and behavior that cannot consciously be controlled always suggests the individual can create something the individual cannot. This thinking occurs by default once the subconscious no longer perceives a necessary item in the environment.

In order to meet the necessary item no longer present  we begin trying to create what is missing. We do this firstly in the mind with thought that cannot consciously be controlled(worry, stress) causing the negative emotions we feel (loneliness, unhappiness, insecurity etc). Our actions then are determined by this thinking/ emotional void as we try to create what is missing (hurting ourselves and others in an attempt to satisfy the emotional void). We continue to do the same thing over and over again without success even though we may be consciously trying to stop. All this should be pointing us to the realization that of ourselves we cannot create what is missing, but for some reason it does not. Even after reading this article you will consciously know what is causing you to do what you do, but it is of little benefit.  The inability of humans to realize that of themselves they cannot create what is missing in their lives should lead the individual to realize their need for Someone else Who can create what is missing.

Of ourselves we cannot create the feeling of acceptance, otherwise we would never not feel accepted.

Of ourselves we cannot create the ability to loose weight, otherwise we would never need to loose weight.
Of ourselves we cannot create the ability to work, otherwise we would always be able to work.
Of ourselves we cannot create the ability to sleep, otherwise we would always be able to sleep.
Of ourselves we cannot create friendship, otherwise we would always have friends.
Of ourselves we cannot create the ability to make conversation, otherwise we would always be able to make conversation.
Of ourselves we cannot create happiness, otherwise we would always be happy.
Of ourselves we cannot create something, otherwise we would never not have something.

This should suggest to us that we do not have the ability to create anything other than decision because if we could, we would  be able to create anything and therefore we would never miss anything. However this suggestion alone is not sufficient to change the subconscious understanding. Of ourselves we cannot, otherwise we already would have done so.
